The Boat Shed in Cowes (West) is now open for visitors on Tuesdays and Fridays (10-4pm).

 

With much help from volunteers and companies across the Island and further afield it is once again our privilege to be able to show to the public over 70 yachts, motor and lifeboats which tell the impressive story of the marine history of  the Isle of Wight and Cowes. There is still much work to do at the shed but we hope you will enjoy discovering the history the people and the spirit of Cowes through its very special marine heritage.

Getting to the Classic Boat Museum Boat Shed in Cowes (West:

The Shed is positioned alongside the Hammer Head crane on the West Side of the Medina river. From the floating bridge on the west side the shed is less than a 5 minute walk. You enter the shed site from Thetis road and enter thorough Admiralty Gate. (Parking is available inside the yard)
