The famous Dolly Varden - our oldest boat

Museum volunteer Hamo Thorneycroft accompanied William Collier, CEO of Glasgow-based classic yachts experts, G.L. Watson & Co, and Cowes resident, Adrian Stone of Adrian Stone Yacht Surveys, to the Belfast Shed in Newport on February 23rd 2024. William (the tall one) and Adrian are pictured discussing a Conservation Management Plan for the Dolly Varden, built by JS Whites in 1872.
