Felicity Ferguson, Maritime Histories lead from the International Maritime Museums Congress visited the museum in October. She commented, "You have such a rich site and associated collection. I do hope that you are able to get local support for the development and activation of your waterfront site. I was particularly struck by the cross over between nautical and maritime engineering that runs through the site and collection. What good planning on your part to secure the America's Cup vessel."
